I am most definitely not fishing for compliments when I describe myself as 'not a bad artist'. I paint in oil on canvas because it's cathartic, it gives me pleasure and for no other reason.  I enjoy those rare days when I can sit quietly in front of my easel and innocuously dawdle to my heart's content. This only occurs during my least favourite season...Summer. Well here are a few of my dawdles.
